Financial Advice Drop In Centres - 24.02.2009
North Devon Homes (NDH) are working in partnership with local agencies South West Pound and Barnstaple Poverty Action Group (BPAG) to help their customers and others in the community stay on top of their finances during these difficult times.
To ensure the services of these agencies are as accessible as possible the drop in centres are being run throughout February and March at both the North Devon Homes town centre office and the Forches Volunteer Centre, dates and times as below.
South West Pound Drop In Centres:
- NDH town centre office, Boutport Street – every Thursday from 10am - 1pm starting 26th February.
- Forches Volunteer Centre, Forches Avenue – every Monday from 10am – 12pm starting 23rd February.
BPAG Drop In Centres:
- Forches Volunteer Centre, Forches Avenue – every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am – 12pm starting 3rd March.
Some of the issues these agencies can help with include how to avoid doorstep lenders, benefits advice, arranging payment plans and budgeting advice to ensure rent accounts are kept up to date.
