Tenant Services Authority (TSA)

The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) was launched in December 2008 to take over the regulatory powers from the Housing Corporation. The TSA regulates affordable housing and aims to raise the standard of service for tenants.

In January the TSA launched the National Conversation, the biggest ever consulation with affordable housing residents across the social housing domain. Part of this conversation included a survey, which we sent to everyone on our consultation database. Thank you to over 400 of our customers who completed the survey or attended a local conversation event. The primary aim of the National Conversation was to find out what services tenants need and the standards they expect. The results were used to develop a regultory framework that puts tenants priorities first. The draft standards went out to consultation with tenants, landlords and other stakeholders. In November, the TSA published a statutory consultation on the future standards framework that will apply to housing associations, councils, arm's-lenth management organisations and tenant management organisations from April 2010.

Find and Compare Landlords - new web tool launched (December 2009)!

The TSA have launched a free new web tool that allows you to compare us to other landlords in the area. You will find comparisons on six things that tenants have told the TSA they would find useful. They include comparing your rent with the local average and seeing how we rate in terms of overall service and our repairs and maintenance in particular.

You can compare our performance with other landlords' via the TSA website: www.tenantservicesauthority.org
