The Property Services department is responsible for day to day responsive repairs and carrying out all major works to our properties and our aim is to make sure that your home is well maintained in order to provide you with a good standard of home and a better quality of life.
Responsive Repairs
A dedicated team of staff respond to all repair requests and monitor the performance of our contractors, in order to ensure we are providing the best possible service. For more information on day to day repairs click here.
Planned Maintenance
Planned maintenance ensures that your home is decorated externally and that larger maintenance works are carried out to your road or block of flats in an organised way every five years.
As well as carrying external decorations we are currently refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms as part of the Transfer guarantee and carrying out various other major works such as re-wiring, re-roofing and installing heating systems, for more information on these projects please look up Planned Maintenance on our contacts page.

Partnering
We are looking to take up the many new initiatives that encourage the construction and maintenance sector to make their activities safer, more efficient and better value for money. One of these initiatives is 'Partnering' which involves a closer working relationship with a contractor where costings are shown openly and both the contractor benefits from a guaranteed profit and North Devon Homes and our customer benefits from the 'right first time' policy. We have been in talks with several of our contractors and have started some negotiated partnering contracts.
