Q. How can I pay my rent?

Q. What do I need to do if my housing benefit changes?
A. If your housing benefit changes please contact your rents officer. Alternatively contact any member of the rents team on 01271 312500 to confirm payment arrangements.
Q. Who is responsible for repairs on my house?

Q. What do I need to do if I want to make alterations to my home?
A. If you want to improve your home by making alterations or providing extra facilities, please write to North Devon Homes for permission.
We will not normally withhold permission, but may apply conditions that you must keep to. You must keep to any conditions attached to the permission, as it is a term of your tenancy agreement. If you do not keep to it, you will be breaking your tenancy agreement and you may put your tenancy at risk.
It is your responsibility to get any necessary planning and building regulation approvals from North Devon Council.

Q. Do I get rent free weeks?
A. Yes. There are 4 rent free weeks each year during March and April. For the dates of these weeks please contact your rents officer on 01271 312500.
