Barbrook Eco Homes Open Day - 27.09.2011

Two Homes in Barbrook which have been recently refurbished as part of a research project into greener technologies for existing low rise properties are now being occupied.

There have been many challenges to face due to the non standard construction of the properties and their location, which overhangs the river in a steep and shaded valley.

The project is now entering its final phase of "monitoring whilst in use", which will continue for two years and help determine the performance of the buildings.
