Leaseholders

Leaseholders are people who own flats or maisonettes under 125 year leases, which were granted by North Devon Council or North Devon Homes under the Right to Buy and Right to Acquire schemes. North Devon Homes is the freehold owner and landlord of these properties.

All leaseholder matters are dealt with by North Devom Homes' Home Ownership department. This includes;

* Consultation on major works affecting leasehold properties

* Charging for major works, with various payment options available to leaseholders

* Charging for minor works and services on an annual basis

* Holding meetings, which all leaseholders can attend, to discuss any matters affecting them

* Other issues affecting leaseholders such as assignments, repair issues and anti-social behaviour.
