Pre-Cast Reinforced Concrete Homes

North Devon Homes owns 358 pre-reinforced concrete (PRC) homes that were built using concrete panel walls instead of brick. In order to provide a modern level of comfort and warmth to tenants of these homes we are looking to make improvements and we are currently refurbishing 49 PRC properties at Lynton, Braunton, Wrafton, South Molton and West Down.

This involves the tenants moving into temporary accommodation whilst concrete panels are removed and the walls rebuilt using brick. When the refurbishment is finished tenants move back into a virtually new home. Different stages of refubishment can be seen below.
