Customer Improvement Grants

If you want to improve your home North Devon Homes can provide a grant to enable you to do so without incurring a rise in your rent. The grants do not pay for the whole work to be done just for a percentage. Please see the table below for grants available and how much the grant will cover. If you want to apply for a grant please speak to your Neighbourhood Officer or contact the Customer Care Team on 01271 312500.

Grant available for:-	Percentage of cost payable by NDH	Maximun Payable
Shower over the bath	75%	£300
Shower cubicle	75%	£500
Gates and fencing/walls	75%	£400

Full written permission is required from North Devon Homes Ltd before you start any work or alterations. Grants are not available if your rent account is in arrears, or if you have a Right to Buy/Acquire application outstanding.

Please note there is a waiting list for these grants and those with the highest need will be given priority.
