North Devon Homes participates in the national and independent house exchange scheme called HomeSwapper. This scheme is internet based and provides North Devon Homes' customers with a monthly updated list to view. The HomeSwapper service holds details of people requesting mutual exchanges within North Devon as well as details of those wishing to move into the area from elsewhere.
To join the scheme FREE OF CHARGE (provided you are an assured tenant and not in breach of your tenancy conditions, for example, rent arrears, outstanding court costs or recharges), register at www.homeswapper.co.uk stating your landlord is North Devon Homes. If you do not have a computer at home, we have, for the sole use of North Devon Homes' customers, a computer at our Town Centre Office, 116-118 Boutport Street, Barnstaple. Please visit our Contact Us page for opening times.
Once you have registered, you will be able to go online and view matches. HomeSwapper can also email you at regular intervals with details of suitable exchange partners. If you do not have access to a computer, HomeSwapper can be sent via alerts to your mobile phone.

When you have found an exchange you will need to get North Devon Homes' permission by completing a Mutual Exchange Application Form. These can be found at our offices or click here to download one. If you no longer wish to be on the HomeSwapper register then contact HomeSwapper as soon as possible. This will prevent any inconvenience to yourself and other tenants.
