We are thrilled to announce that last night Pearce, our Joint Venture Partners at Anchorwood Ltd's development Taw Wharf, won 'UK Housebuilder of the Year - over 35 units' for their work at Taw Wharf at the prestigious nationwide Construction Awards of Excellence 2021 awards ceremony.
The Construction Awards of Excellence are truly independent, owned by the sector for the sector, across all of the British Isles. 2021 is the first year of these new awards that are designed to recognise those individuals and companies that set the gold standard in the construction sector. The National Federation of Builders (NFB) funded the establishment of the Awards, which was run and judged entirely independently by a panel of Judges and chaired by Lord Stunell.
“This development was five years in the making to start on site and is a model of local partnership working which we are extremely proud of” said Paul Knox Managing Director of Pearce. The £40M project will have a local economic impact of £86m and secures local employment and 24 apprenticeship places over the 6 years it is being developed. “We have been delighted with the reception of the homes with great reviews from customers and very strong demand.”
Pearce Construction was chosen, alongside Grace Homes and WW Martin, as one of three finalists in the category, UK House Builder of the Year – over 35 units and the entry was focussed on the work at Taw Wharf as part of our joint venture as Anchorwood Ltd.
