Simon is a Consultant Solicitor with Tozers LLP in Exeter.

Until July 2019 he was a Partner with Tozers and Head of their Social Housing Practice, which currently advises a wide range of housing associations in the south west and nationally. Previously he was with a London firm of solicitors, Lewis Silkin, who are also well known legal advisers in the housing sector.

He was on the Board of DCH Group from 2005 to 2014 and chair until 2011. He was also on the board of the commercial development subsidiary, Westco, from 2008 to 2014.

He was also on the board of Barnsbury Housing Association in London, and Company Secretary until 1985.

Simon also sits on the Group Remuneration and People Committee.
