Electric inspections project update

We have made great progress towards our target of achieving a 5 year cycle for electrical inspections, with only 17 properties now overdue, two of which are now empty and so will be worked on. We are working closely with our customers to get these inspections completed as soon as possible.

Of the 267 properties which took part in this study, just 8 require work to bring their results to a safer level.

Electrical Safety First Funding

In February we held a series of events in our various communities to promote fire and electrical safety, offering customers the chance to get their own electrical appliances tested. Funded by Electrical Safety First, the awareness events also gave our customers the opportunity to receive further electrical safety advice and chat to our staff and partners about other areas of safety in their homes.

"Customer Voice" - Our Customer Health and Safety Partnership has been busy meeting our customers at their roadshow of coffee mornings and themed events. They are always welcoming new members if you are interested in hearing more.
