North Devon Homes is a leading provider of affordable housing in the North Devon District. We manage over 3,300 homes in the area. We provide a range of quality affordable homes for rent, shared ownership opportunities and independent living properties.

Shared ownership is a government-backed scheme that helps people buy a home if they can’t afford the full cost. You buy a share of a property (usually between 10% and 75%) and pay rent on the rest. Over time, you can buy more shares in your home if you choose to—this is called "staircasing." It’s a more affordable way to get on the property ladder with a smaller deposit and mortgage.
