Summer Fayre
Our Customer Summer Fayre is back for another year!
The fayre is all about fun, so for the young (and young at heart) we have face painting, a bouncy castle, donkey rides, a mini petting zoo, party games and much more.
The fun isn’t just for the young ones though. You may be an adult but let us take away some of your ‘adult worry’ for just one day with this free event. We have games such as bingo and tombola, plus the chance to get advice from our money matters team.
All ages will find plenty to do with our partners and their stalls, with games and competitions galore. We have plenty to keep you entertained. Come and meet our team and involved customers, and, if you feel like you want to join in, there'll be plenty of games and activities suitable for all ages!
Date
Friday 25th July from 11am to 3pm
Venue
The Park Community School, Park Lane, Barnstaple EX32 9AX
Our Sponsors
We could not hold this event without the support of all our sponsors and partners. There are many supporters behind the scenes that we will share more about in the lead up to the event but we want to give a big shout out to our four headline sponsors for 2025's event:

And a thank you to our activity sponsors

All customers living in a NDH home can attend our event for free! They can also bring a friend or two along with them to enjoy the day for free too! When reserving tickets, make sure you book a Guest Ticket for your friends and a Customer Ticket for each person in your household.
On the day a free meal will be provided for all ticket holders. When you reserve your tickets it will ask you to choose a meal option per ticket holder. Pre-orders help us to prepare rough food quantities and reduce food waste on the day. The meal choices are:
- Beef burger
- Hot dog
- Veggie burger
- Cheese and tomato pizza
- Ham baguette
- Cheese baguette
- Cold pasta salad box
Chips will also be available
Bus transport must be booked in advance when booking your entry tickets. Buses will be dropped off and picked up right next to the event field.

We want to encourage use of our free buses, but where that's not possible there is parking at the free Park & Ride car park next to the school. This is around 200m from the entrance to the event field. There will also be a drop off spot at the bus stop by the event field for those who want to drop off anyone/thing before parking.
We have a limited amount of disabled parking in the school site available to book on a first come, first serve basis.
Access to the event will be from 10.45am. Before this time you will only have access to the Park and Ride car park. Registration will open at 11am.
The school is fully accessible and flat. Please note however, that a lot of our activity is on a grass field, and if the weather has been wet access may be difficult with a standard wheelchair. Our team will be on hand to help wherever we can to help with access to activities on the field if this is the case but want to let customers know in advance in case alternative arrangements can be made.
Please note that no animals are allowed onsite, apart from assistance dogs.
If the Book here button is not active this is because ticket bookings are only open between 1st May and Friday 11th July to ensure you can pre-order a free meal. If you haven't pre-booked tickets you can still turn up on the day and visit our walk up registration desks. You won't be guaranteed any food, but you will get access to all other activities.
No, you will not be permitted to smoke or vape on the school field, but we will provide a designated smoking area where you can go. Please ask one of our staff to direct you to the smoking area.
