What is Community Involvement?

  • Getting involved is all about having your say and/or joining us with our Community Events
  • We want you to tell us what you think about our housing services
  • This shows us what matters to our customers
  • Working together we can improve our services

Can I get involved?

  • Yes! All customers can get involved
  • There are lots of easy ways for you to share your views and get involved in a way that is convenient and suits you.
  • It’s not complicated. We will explain how our services work so you can tell us what you think
  • We will provide you with any skills and knowledge to hold constructive conversations and make informed decisions.
  • We can provide transport or care expenses for dependants.

  • All feedback received will be shared with our C90 Customer Group.

What is the C90 Customer Group?

C90 was launched in June 2017 in place of the Customer Forum. 

C90 consists of 4 customers who meet every 90 days with Board Members, Executive Team, Managers and Staff.

Meetings consist of

- Policy, strategy and service development

- Reviewing performance information and customer satisfaction

- Improve and enhance new and existing services

- Review and organise customer involvement activities and consultations based on C90 discussions

- Look at what is working well and what needs fixing.

The group aims to ensure that customers are kept at the heart of what we do and that customers have direct input into how their homes are managed.  C90 help to ensure that the Board are well informed from a customer prospective.

How can I get Involved?

There are many ways you can get involved which will then feedback into the C90 Group and make a difference:-

Scrutiny Panel

· Small friendly group of customers

· Monthly meetings

· In dept review of 4 key service areas per year

· Independent ‘watchdog’ to ensure quality cost effective services

· Report directly to C90 and the Board on what customers think we should stop doing, continue doing and start doing

Local Conversations:

We will visit your neighbourhood and on the doorstep you can:

- Tell us what matters to you

· Tell us what works well and what needs to improve

· Suggest community improvements/events in your area

· Enter a prize draw

Tenant 2 Tenant:

- Join Tenant 2 Tenant and give advice to other customers.  If you are interested training and an induction process will be provided.

- Inspect services carried out in your home and neighbourhood when requested

Become a Local Neighbourhood Advisor (LNA)

Be a local Neighbourhood Advisor in your community to:-

- Look out for your neighbours

- Report back to Community Involvement team regularly any improvements or concerns

- Carry out communal inspections

- Promote local events and activities in your community

- Training will be provided by the Community Involvement Team and Tenant to Tenant Team

Customer Communications:

· Are you a budding editor with an eye for detail?

· Help develop and cast your eye over customer letters, leaflets and publications

· Tell us how we can make them more interesting and customer friendly

 Via email or post from the comfort of your own home.


· Complete quick and easy occasional surveys

· Via post, telephone, email, text, facebook and forums

· From the comfort of your own home

Social Media

 Community events:

Community events are clear up days, summer fayre, Independent Living Social events, community BBQ's, intergenerational events with young people, pop up events or any other suggestions!

· Take part in activities and competitions

Mystery shop our services:

· Make a phone call or visit

· Assess services from a customer perspective

· Complete a short form about the service you experienced

Focus groups/workshops

- Attend a focus group with customers on specific topics/services 

- Attend a workshop either in office or in your community

Customer Feedback:

· Make a comment, compliment or complaint

· Via post, telephone or email

· From the comfort of your own home
