Renting

If you rent one of our homes we will support you to live there by providing advice and information on a range of issues including health and safety, gas servicing, home improvements, water and energy use, benefits and budgeting.

We have a dedicated repairs service who will fix your home’s repairs. In addition, we have an out of hours service to enable a quick response to emergency repairs.

We work to ensure that your neighbourhood is a well maintained, pleasant and safe place to live. We have a grounds maintenance programme to keep communal grass, hedges and shrubs tidy and regularly inspect footpaths. Our Neighbourhoods Team can provide help, advice and support about the area where you live.

How to get a property to rent

All of our vacant properties are advertised through a choice based lettings system called Devon Home Choice. To register for a property with us you will need to register with Devon Home Choice. You will need to do this if you are new to the area or an existing housing association customer.

The easiest way to join the Devon Home Choice register is to visit the website at www.devonhomechoice.com and complete the online registration form.

If you would like more information about Devon Home Choice, housing benefits or are worried that you are at risk of homelessness please contact North Devon Council's Housing Options Team for independent advice on 01271 388870 or email [email protected].
